Friendship is an important part of a child’s social‐emotional development. From our friends we learn to share, to listen, and to express our feelings. But most importantly, our friends give us a sense of belonging. Henry & George
I joined the Friendship Foundation in 2023, although it feels like I’ve been a part for much longer! My favorite program is Movie Nights because I get to see the participants sing along with the movie and dance. I love hanging out with all my friends who also volunteer at the Friendship Foundation, getting to know all the participants, hearing laughs, seeing smiles, and making memories.

I joined the organization a year ago and love the Friendship Foundation and the staff! This Fall I will be in 11th grade and when I grow up, I want to be a chef! My hero is my mom because she is a good person and helps others whenever she can. My idol is Henry, my Buddy,because he's sincere, kind, and a very cool person with a great sense of humor: I look up to Henry.”
