I'm thrilled to share that I'll be participating in the Skechers Pier to Pier Friendship Walk to raise funds for our Adult Transition Program at Hamilton Adult Center.
Our Goal This Year
This year, our faculty has identified a need to upgrading the technology within our program. Technology plays a crucial role in today's educational landscape, and for our students, it can be a game-changer. With the right tools, we can:
- Enhance Learning Experiences: Interactive software and adaptive learning programs can cater to individual learning styles and needs.
- Improve Communication: Assistive technology can help students who struggle with traditional communication methods to express themselves more effectively.
- Develop Vocational Skills: Access to current technology prepares our students for the modern workforce, giving them a better chance at employment opportunities.
- Promote Independence: Technology can aid in teaching essential life skills like budgeting, scheduling, and navigation. (Cyber Safety, AI writing/assistance, etc.)
