The Academy of the Arts and the Friendship Foundation, which operates at the school campus, invites you to join our team for the Skechers Pier to Pier Friendship Walk on October 20th.
Rabbi Yossi and Sara helped start the walk with Skechers founder Michael Greenberg 16 years ago! The foundation helps over 5000 children and young adults with special needs gain necessary life and job skills and life altering friendships. We need to teach and show the children of the Academy the gift of compassion for children who may not be the same as them. Walking together side by side with those different from us will teach our children so much.
The class with the most registered walkers will win a pizza and bounce house party. The more walkers, and virtual walkers registered the better chance their class has at winning the party.
*Each person registering for our team will count toward both Sam & Dixie.
