Our Story

We’re excited to announce that Fern Elementary will be participating in the 2024 SKECHERS Pier to Pier Friendship Walk, either in-person or virtually, alongside the Torrance Education Foundation.

Join us by registering as a member of our team to help raise essential funds for our school! When you sign up, be sure to select and choose the Torrance Education Foundation as your contribution recipient. 100% of your $30 registration fee will go directly to our school.

We are walking to raise funds for the following:

• Guest Speakers & Crafts for the Fern Friendship Club
• Revamp & relocate the Fern Garden by purchasing additional fruit trees, fruit bushes, and essential soil amendments to make our garden flourish!

• If our school reaches 100 walkers, we will receive a $500 bonus from the Torrance Education Foundation.
• If we reach 150 walkers, we will receive an additional $1,000 bonus! 

Please sign up as a walker or virtual walker and invite your family and friends to join too. Everyone can participate to support our school!
