It is in 2022 that Hugo Maxwell The Therapy Dog walked for the first time the Skechers Friendship Walk with his family. Thanks to 21 friends, he was able to surpass his goal multiple times and reach a total of $1,250.00, making him top 5 of all walkers! Very proud indeed for a first timer.
Hugo has a long time relationship with the Friendship Foundation, attending the special needs children/adults during their Summer camps and visiting them during the school year (from elementary to middle schools). We have so much admiration for the wonderful educators who are providing the support Special Needs community need. In July 2025, Hugo was invited to attend the Evening of Recognition Gala organized by The Friendship Foundation. It was truly an honor to watch all the recipients receiving their well-deserved awards.
Hugo and his family will be walking in the Skechers Pier to Pier Friendship Walk 2025, October 19th, to help make a difference! This important event is organized to raise funds for public education, national college scholarships, and children with special needs. Your support will help play a huge part in providing friendship and inclusion for our kids with varying abilities, as well as supporting critical education programs in our public schools.
