Last week, I was having a tough morning. Still, my Hana came home excited from Arlington, talking about a new science project in class, and then Mina showed me a drawing she had made in art. That?s when it hit me! These types of programs and projects are still available because of local funding.
As a mom of two kids, I know we have to fight for our children?s public education. Especially now, when so much of the support we rely on?from government stability to economic security?feels fragile.
That?s why I'm walking in the Skechers Pier to Pier Friendship Walk. This event is a direct investment in our neighborhood kids, supporting vital programs in TUSD classrooms and providing crucial friendship and inclusion for children with special needs.
Every step I take, and every dollar you share, is a powerful LOVING act of local support. It's us saying, "We've got this!"
Will you join my efforts and support public education? Or, if you want that fresh ocean air, come join me! Let?s walk together and make a huge, local difference.
Thank you for being such a wonderful local supporter.
Best,
Marcela
