Mira Costa’s Friendship Club started 17 years ago by a group of friends who felt a need to bring more inclusion on their school campus. Their vision was to provide a safe space for individuals, with and without disabilities, to make friends in the most genuine way possible. There are now more than 60 students in Costa’s Friendship Club, and many of them have taken on leadership roles at the Friendship Foundation! From Club President(s), Ambassadors, Camp Counselors, Innovative Program Facilitators, and Skechers Teen Advisory Board (TAB) members, the Mustang Friendship Club is stampeding their way through the South Bay! 

We will be walking with Ms. Sylvia to raise funds for public education and individuals with disabilities. Please join our team and support our efforts to make Friendship Club a more inclusive place for students to feel a real sense of belonging and community. Go Mustangs!
