Help Support Our Classroom Through the SKECHERS Friendship Walk!
I’m excited to once again participate in the SKECHERS Friendship Walk, which raises funds for public education, college scholarships, and programs supporting children with special needs.
Here’s what makes this fundraiser especially meaningful for our class: through the Torrance Education Foundation (TEF), 100% of your registration donation comes directly back to our classroom! Even better, donations are often matched by corporate sponsors — sometimes by as much as 300% — making your contribution go even further!
The money we raise helps provide opportunities and resources that make learning more exciting and memorable for our students. Your support can help fund:
Special classroom programs and experiences, like our Gold Rush Day
Hands-on activities that bring history to life and allow students to experience what they are learning
New books for our classroom library to keep students excited about reading
Supplies and materials for projects, activities, and everyday learning
Other special opportunities that simply aren’t possible within our regular classroom budget
These are the experiences that students remember — the days when learning goes beyond a textbook and they get to create, explore, read, discover, and experience what we are studying.
Your support also contributes to the larger impact of the SKECHERS Friendship Walk, including the Friendship Foundation, while helping Towers continue its incredible tradition of supporting education throughout our community.
Would you consider registering through my page for $30? You don’t have to attend the walk for your registration to make a difference. You can walk with us or simply “walk in spirit” — either way, your registration directly supports our classroom and helps me create meaningful learning experiences for our students all year long.
And if you’re local, we’d love to have you join us for a fun morning walking along the beach!
Thank you for investing in our students and helping us make learning come alive!
