Meet Our Kids
Friendship is an important part of a child’s social‐emotional development. From our friends we learn to share, to listen, and to express our feelings. But most importantly, our friends give us a sense of belonging. Read about some amazing friendships that have been developed through The Friendship Foundation and by the support of the SKECHERS Friendship Walk.

Mighty & Isabella
Meet Isabella, a dedicated 10th grader at Mira Costa High School, and Mighty, a spirited fellow 10th grader whose infectious personality lights up every room. Their friendship is built on genuine love and mutual admiration—Isabella sees Mighty as "so sweet and funny," while Mighty describes Isabella as "smart and pretty." The magic of their connection shines through in the simple yet profound moments they share: creating matching friendship bracelets as symbols of their bond, and singing karaoke together, Isabella also loves watching Mighty feel like a "princess" during surf camp. After three and a half years of volunteering, Isabella has found that her friendship with Mighty creates "lasting memories" and a "special bond" that extends far beyond their program activities. Their relationship exemplifies the beautiful truth that friendship knows no boundaries—it's about two hearts connecting, supporting each other, and finding true comfort in each other's company.
